What a CV should look like?

  • A clear, well-arranged presentation and structure
  • A font that is easy to read
  • A chronological list of past positions, including a short description of activities, in reverse order, i.e. starting with your most recent job
  • A brief description of your current/last job
  • An indication and explanation of any gaps in the CV
  • Avoidance of grammatical or typing errors
  • If submitting your application by post, enclose an original printout of your CV (not a copy)
  • Enclose a passport sized photograph or integrate it into your CV electronically

What a CV should contain

  • Personalersonal information (including date of birth, marital status, children)
  • Schools and education (apprenticeship, further education, higher education, etc.)
  • Work placements
  • Career history
  • List of courses and further training
  • Language skills
  • Computer skills
  • Additional skills
  • Interests
  • References (on request)
  • List of publications (if applicable)

Send your CV together with copies of all references, diplomas/certificates and your cover letter by email or post to the person specified in the company. When submitting your application by email, please make sure that you send a complete pdf dossier.
