For our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are seeking a dedicated Science & Technology Expert (m/w/d). This innovative organization stands at the forefront of pharmaceutical research and development, specializing in breakthrough small molecule therapeutics and radioligand therapy solutions. The company operates state-of-the-art GMP facilities and maintains a strong commitment to advancing precision medicine through cutting-edge analytical technologies.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive analytical experiments including stability testing, release protocols, and method validations within established timelines 
  • Operate advanced instrumentation such as HPLC and GC systems for pharmaceutical analysis and quality control 
  • Conduct specialized cleaning validation and verification studies to ensure GMP compliance standards 
  • Manage comprehensive documentation and data submission through electronic laboratory notebook systems (GLIMS eLN) 
  • Investigate and resolve analytical deviations, out-of-specification results, and change control processes 
  • Oversee laboratory operations including chemical inventory, reagent management, and equipment maintenance 
  • Mentor and develop junior scientists, technicians, and temporary staff members 
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams and communicate critical findings to management

 

Your Profile

  • Academic background in Life Sciences (Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical Development) - Bachelor's or Master's degree 
  • Proven experience of 3+ years in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environments 
  • Technical expertise with HPLC, GC instrumentation, and cleaning validation methodologies 
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and pharmaceutical quality standards 
  • Excellent communication abilities including scientific writing and presentation skills 
  • Fluent English proficiency (spoken and written) - German language skills advantageous 
  • Detail-oriented approach with commitment to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
