About our client

For our client in Schachen, we are looking for an Export Specialist (m/f/d). In this role, you ensure that domestic and international shipments especially in a temperature-controlled environment are executed efficiently, correctly documented, and fully compliant.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate, organize and control temperature-controlled air and ground transportation for domestic and international shipments.
• Work closely with internal interfaces and external partners (e.g., planning/disposition, freight forwarders, other stakeholders) to ensure smooth distribution activities.
• Prepare and compile shipping and trade documents for export/import in accordance with Global Trade Compliance and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) (incl. proforma invoice, packing list, dangerous goods declaration, Certificates of Origin).
• Complete customs export declarations using Passar (Expovit).
• Ensure compliance with country-specific import requirements (e.g., customs authorities, veterinary, environmental, health) based on internal country-requirement sources and other regulatory provisions.
• Serve as the main point of contact and advisor for distribution topics for both internal teams and external stakeholders, providing guidance and support.
• Support the import team with import activities (cross-trained / backup coverage).

Your profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in export operations.
• Very good knowledge of ERP systems and confident user of MS Office.
• Structured, independent, and reliable working style.
• Team-oriented, service-minded, and resilient personality.
• Business-fluent German (spoken and written) and good English skills.
