About Our Client
For our client, an internationally active company in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector, we are looking for a dedicated Laboratory Technician. Your Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out chemical synthesis experiments safely and efficiently, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
- Generate, evaluate, and communicate experimental data in close exchange with Process Chemists and cross-functional project teams
- Contribute to process optimization, troubleshooting, and the scale-up of chemical reactions into pilot and manufacturing environments
- Support the implementation of advanced technology platforms, including Biocatalysis, Flow Chemistry, Process Analytical Technology (PAT), surfactant-based chemistry, and sustainable process approaches
- Assist manufacturing teams and external partners with process transfers, yield optimization, and cycle-time predictions
- Take part in the production of small-scale GMP and non-GMP batches, including for advanced therapeutic modalities such as ADCs, as required
- Keep laboratory equipment, analytical instruments, and work areas operational, safe, and audit-ready
- Maintain precise and compliant documentation in the electronic lab notebook (eLN), following Good Documentation Practice
- Flag safety observations and operational risks proactively, and support a strong HSE and GxP compliance culture
Your Profile
- Completed apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician (Laborant/in) or an equivalent technical-scientific qualification
- Hands-on experience in synthetic chemistry and genuine enthusiasm for laboratory work
- Practical exposure to process development activities and the scale-up of chemical reactions
- Working knowledge of common synthesis and analytical equipment such as HPLC, GC, NMR, EasyMax, and FlexyALR
- Solid understanding of laboratory safety and HSE standards
- Strong organizational skills and a meticulous, detail-oriented way of working
- German skills at a good working level and strong written and spoken English
- An independent, solution-oriented mindset paired with excellent collaboration and communication skills across teams
